#001- Mannequin

These featureless abominations are prone to lurk in areas of markets and abandoned cities. Shamelessly sneaking into cargo as regular posing dolls, no evidence points to any true origin of these creatures, and their motives are unknown, past sustenance. It is speculated that these creatures are possessed mannequins, controlled by the vengeful spirits of fallen ponies. This could be true, considering that most mannequins consist of a light, flexible plastic shell, but the theory is broken by the inner muscular tissue that lies beneath the artificial armor.

One theory on the motives of mannequins, if their supernatural origin is to be believed, is that they suck out the life force of sleeping ponies, the process taking several nights, and slowly turning the victim into a hollow, empty shell of a creature. A mannequin, hunting it's prey, will skulk over it's victim for several nights, some it uses for "study," some it uses for feeding. The mannequin will stand over it's sleeping victim and silently whisper their name, all the while with a thick, brownish, viscous, blood-like fluid dripping from their mouths.

Mannequins seem to know much about their chosen victims, including their name, age, relationship status, and even blood type, among other personal information. One of the most striking abilities of the Mannequins are their near-perfect mimicry of the voice of a loved one. No door holds itself locked to a Mannequin, as they seem to be capable of easily creating wax keys. However, it seems that a Mannequin cannot enter a room with at least one conscious member inside of it- this is where their mimicry comes into play. Though the voice mimicked is near-perfect, there is always something "off" in it.

Mannequins are weak on their own, and tend to flee, unless they are sure they can handle their target- but in groups, however, Mannequins will circle and buck, kick, punch and headbutt their victim into unconsciousness, then collectively feed off of it's life force. Though they may seem hard to take down due to their shell, a Mannequin has the same vitality as a normal pony, and can be eliminated through similar means.
